A projection-based AR game combining ping pong with the classic video game Breakout. Two players compete to break each other's tiles, transforming traditional table tennis into a game purely about accuracy.

The table was painted white and projected on from above. Acoustic sensors track the point of impact of the ball. The output of the sensors is converted and analyzed using a circuit design and software from an MIT open source project called PingPong++.

Created for the HAX Lab at Hornall Anderson. I helped develop the game concept, built the sensors, and did the programming. Visual and motion design by Hayden Schoen, ACE platform concept by Nick Thiel.
